Danish Sisterhood Dagmar Lodge #4 member Susanne Ali, who is originally from Denmark, gave a fascinating presentation about her work at Dave’s Down to Earth Rock Shop in Evanston, Illinois at the May 19, 2013 Danish Sisterhood meeting at The Danish Home in Chicago. Susanne showed a large display of beautiful birthstones and told about the shop, which offers everything from minerals to fossils, jewelry, beads and findings.

Dave’s Rock Shop, which is located at 704 Main Street, Evanston, IL 60202, is a family-owned business for more than 40 years with an interesting history. It is also a Prehistoric Life Museum, so check out the shop in person or online.
