
New chief will lead the Danish Royal Theatre plays in 2015
The Royal Theatre seeks new acting chief for the summer of 2015
By mutual agreement, The Royal Theatre’s acting chief Emmet Feigenberg has resigned his position at the end of this season.
“Emmet Feigenberg has made a decisive effort in order to establish the Playhouse as a key cultural destination in the Danish theater. After nearly seven years in office, there is now a need for new powers to develop the profile further,” said theater manager Morten Hesseldahl .
Emmet Feigenberg said, “I have been proud of the outstanding results that I, along with staff and actors, have achieved over the nearly seven years that I have had the pleasure to be in charge of the Royal Theatre plays. Now I look forward to be able to devote myself to work as a director.”
The post of acting chief will be posted as soon as possible, to be filled by appointment. The position is a fixed-term employment.

Det Kongelige Teater søger ny skuespilchef fra sommeren 2015
Efter gensidig overenskomst fratræder skuespilchef Emmet Feigenberg sin stilling med udgangen af denne sæson.
“Emmet Feigenberg har ydet en helt afgørende indsats i forhold til at få etableret Skuespilhuset som en central kulturel destination på den danske teaterscene. Efter næsten syv år på posten er der nu brug for nye kræfter til at udvikle profilen yderligere,” siger teaterchef Morten Hesseldahl.
Emmet Feigenberg udtaler: “Jeg har været stolt over de fornemme resultater, jeg sammen med medarbejdere og skuespillere har opnået gennem de snart syv år, jeg har haft fornøjelsen af at stå i spidsen for Det Kongelige Teaters skuespil. Nu glæder jeg mig til i højere grad at kunne hellige mig arbejdet som instruktør.”
Stillingen som skuespilchef vil blive slået op snarest muligt til besættelse efter nærmere aftale. Stillingen er en åremålsansættelse.
