Danes to participate in 1st International Christmas Market in Illinois on November 15, 2014

Danish Sisterhood Dagmar Lodge #4, The Danish Pioneer Newspaper and The Danish Home of Chicago will be participating in the first International Christmas Market at Estonian House in Riverwoods, Illinois on Saturday, November 15, 2014.

The Estonian House Christmas Market ‘Jõululaat’ will be held from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

In addition to the international Christmas crafts, there will be live cultural entertainment, refreshments and the bar opens at Noon.

The cost for admission is $5 for adults and children under 12 are free. There is free parking.

Chicago Estonian House is located at 14700 Estonian Lane, Riverwoods, IL 60015.

Danish Sisterhood members have been working on Danish holiday crafts, such as handmade Christmas hearts and stars and they will also be selling small Christmas elves and notecards.
