Danes in Southern California gather for Grundlovsdag on Sunday, June 7, 2015
The Danish National Committee of Southern California and the 13-member organizations cordially invite you to attend the annual GRUNDLOVSFEST, celebrating Grundlovsdag, Denmark’s Constitution Day!
Don’t miss out on the largest gathering of Danes in Southern California, which takes place on Sunday, June 7th, 2015 from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at “The Park”, 1885 N. Hacienda Road, La Habra Heights, CA 90631.
Admission is 13 years and up $10 / Children 5 – 13 $5 / under 5 Free, and there is Free Parking.
Bring your own shade. First Come-First Served for tables and chairs! The organizers provide tables (1 per family) and chairs for approximately 300 people.
Food and Drinks: Bring your own – It’s a picnic! Ice Cold Carlsberg Beer, Soft Drinks, Coffee and Danish Pastry will be available.
The festive day includes Children’s Games, Big Bounce House, Talent Show, Arts and Crafts Booth, Dancing and Live Music by Linda.
This year’s theme is A Royal 75th Celebration! There will be Table Decorating Contest! Be sure to celebrate and incorporate the theme!
There will also be a Raffle of Valuable Prizes donated by Generous Sponsors and Wheel of Fortune Games. $1,000 Scholarships will be presented to two Students of Danish Descent.
