If you find yourself in any of these locations, please join in the Danish Christmas Services around the USA. Everyone is welcome and it is a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season.
* Saturday, December 13: Danish Christmas Service in Edison Park Lutheran Church, 6626 N. Oliphant Ave., Chicago, IL 60631 at 3 pm with Pastor Karen Knutson officiating, Bjornson Male Chorus entertaining and fellowship hour by the Danish Sisterhood Dagmar Lodge #4 of Chicago. This is the 21st Annual Danish Christmas Service in Chicago. The church is handicapped accessible.
* Sunday, December 14: 11 am English third Sunday of Advent Service and coffee and 4 pm Lucia Service and Children’s Christmas Party to follow with Pastor Anne-Grethe Krogh-Nielsen at the Danish Lutheran Church and Cultural Center, 16881 Bastanchury Road, Yorba Linda, CA 92866, Telephone: (714) 993 – 6362
* Thursday, December 18: Christmas service at The Danish Home, Croton-on-Hudson, NY at 1 pm. Pastor Julie Sløk officiating.
* Sunday, December 21st: 11 am English fourth Sunday of Advent Service and coffee at the Danish Lutheran Church and Cultural Center, 16881 Bastanchury Road, Yorba Linda, CA 92866, Telephone: (714) 993 – 6362
* Sunday, December 21: Christmas service in Faith Lutheran Church in Arlington, VA at 2 pm. Pastor Julie Sløk officiating.
* Tuesday, December 23: Danish Christmas Service at 7:30 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 4330 NE 37th Ave., Portland, Oregon 97211. Following the service in both English and Danish, there will be coffee and singing of carols. Please bring your favorite pastry to share. News courtesy of the Northwest Danish Association
* Tuesday, December 23: Lillejuleaften at 7 p.m. at St. John United Lutheran Church, 5515 Phinney Avenue North, Seattle, Washington. Marianne Stecher will welcome guests, Pastor Birgitte Saltorp will deliver the Danish sermon and Pastor Carol Jensen will give the blessing. Please bring cookies to share following the service. * Wednesday, December 24: Christmas service in St. Peder’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, MN at 3:15 pm. Pastor Andres Albertsen officiating.

* TEXAS: The Danish Christmas service was already held Sunday, December 7 in the Norwegian Seamen’s Church in Houston, TX at 11 am with Pastor Andres Albertsen officiating.
