All ambulance stations are now in place in Southern Denmark
When BIOS and Responce take over ambulance driving in Southern Denmark on September 1, 2015, the ambulances will be located at 41 ambulance stations spread across the region. Region South Denmark has now approved the location of the last of the many stations.
BIOS will be responsible for the southern Danish ambulances on Funen, in West Jutland and in South Jutland, and Responce will drive ambulances in the Triangle Region. The 41 stations are distributed with 13 on Funen, 13 in Southwest Jutland, 9 in Southern Jutland and 6 in the Triangle Region.
The southern Danish ambulances will be located in stations in the following cities:
Fyn: Assens, Bogense, Fåborg, Glamsbjerg, Kerteminde, Nyborg, Odense C, Odense S (Dalum) Otterup, Ringe, Rudkøbing, Svendborg, Ærø Årup.
Southwest Jutland: Billund, Bramming, Brørup, Esbjerg, Fanø, Grindsted, Oksbøl, Ribe, Rødding, Varde, Vejen, Ølgod, Nr. Nebel.
Southern Jutland: Haderslev, Løgumkloster, Skærbæk, Sønderborg, Tinglev, Toftlund, Tønder, Vojens, Aabenraa.
Triangle Region: Ejby, Fredericia, Give, Kolding, Middelfart, Vejle.

Alle ambulancestationer er nu på plads
Når BIOS og Responce 1. september 2015 overtager ambulancekørslen i Region Syddanmark skal ambulancerne rykke ud fra 41 ambulancestationer fordelt over hele regionen. Nu har Region Syddanmark godkendt placeringen af den sidste af de mange stationer.
BIOS skal fra september køre de syddanske ambulancer på Fyn, i Sydvestjylland og i Sønderjylland, og Responce skal køre ambulancerne i Trekantområdet. For at ambulancerne kan nå hurtigt frem i alle dele af regionen, har Region Syddanmark bestemt, at ambulancerne skal rykke ud fra 41 stationer jævn fordelt over hele regionen. Til hver station er der præcise krav til placering. I de seneste måneder har BIOS og Responce arbejdet på at finde lokaler. Det er nu lykkedes, og nu har Region Syddanmark så godkendt placeringen af den sidste af de 41 stationer, der fordeler sig med 13 på Fyn, 13 i Sydvestjylland , ni i Sønderjylland og seks i Trekantområdet.
– Så kan vi sætte flueben ved endnu én af de mange ting, som skal på plads i forbindelse med at BIOS og Responce overtager ambulancekørslen i Region Syddanmark. Der er selvfølgelig mange forberedelser, når man skal overtage så stor en opgave, og jeg synes at mange af enkeltelementerne efterhånden falder på plads, siger formanden for det præhospitale udvalg i Region Syddanmark, Thyge Nielsen (V).
De syddanske ambulancer kommer til at rykke ud fra stationer i følgende byer:
