An Evening of Music with Bjornson Male Chorus set for Friday, December 20, 2013 in Elk Grove Village, Illinois

Here’s a holiday tradition not to be missed. The Bjornson Male Chorus will hold its Annual Christmas Dinner and “An Evening of Music” on Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Avalon Banquets, 1905 East Higgins, Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Cocktails begin at 6:30 p.m. and the dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. Cost only $30 per person. Please RSVP with President John Lee at 847-741-4210.

The Bjornson Male Chorus is a men’s singing group dedicated to preserving the Norwegian heritage through the singing of Scandinavian choral music and there are also some active Danes in the group.

The Bjornson Male Chorus will also be entertaining on Saturday December 14th at 3 p.m. at the Annual Danish Christmas Service at Edison Park Lutheran Church in Chicago. Visit www.edisonparklutheran.org.

On Sunday, December 15th at 6 PM, the group entertains at the Annual Christmas Service and Concert at the Norwegian Memorial Church at Logan Square in Chicago (2614 N. Kedzie, Chicago, IL 60647, Info: Church Hall 773-252-7335).

On December 17th, the singers will give a private Christmas Concert at The Danish Home of Chicago.

The year wraps up with the Friday, December 20th Annual Christmas Dinner and Concert at the Avalon Banquets in Elk Grove Village, IL.

The rehearsals for Bjornson Male Chorus are each Tuesday at 8 PM (except July and August) at the VFW Hall in Park Ridge, IL(Higgins and Canfield).

New singers are always welcome. No skills or knowledge of Norwegian or Danish are required.
