Annual Fastelavn (Danish Mardi Gras) planned by Scandinavian East Coast Museum in New York

On Sunday, February 22nd from 2:00 – 6:00 the Scandinavian East Coast Museum will be holding their Annual Fastelavn Celebration (Danish Mardi Gras) at the Danish Athletic Club, located at 735 – 65th Street, Brooklyn, New York.
All are invited to come and celebrate this wonderful tradition.
Decorate branches for the return of spring, hit the barrel to rid yourself of bad luck and eat delicious Fastelavn buns to increase your good luck. Enjoy games, and try to win the prize for best costume. (Costumes are optional.) Music will be provided by Ellen Lindstrom.
