ARCHIVED STORY: 12 scholarships are available for Danish children abroad (Deadline February 1, 2016)
I am seeking contact with Danish parents abroad, who have limited financial resources to maintain/enhance their children’s connection to Denmark.
Danes Worldwide holds an annual three-week Summer School in Denmark for Danish children and adolescents (9-17 years), who ordinarily reside outside Denmark.
In 2016, Summer School takes place from July 3 to July 22.
This year, Summer School offers free places for twelve students through a series of scholarships, which we have received from Danish foundations and private sponsors.
Summer School is a unique opportunity to increase knowledge of Denmark and the Danish language and to form networks with other global children and adolescents with Danish roots. In addition to Danish lessons and field trips, the Summer School offers a range of other exciting activities, like sports, outdoor recreation, drama classes and creative workshops.

If you are interested, I am happy to send additional material about the association and our other offers.
Application deadline is Wednesday, February 1, 2016. Thank you in advance!
