Bjornson Male Chorus celebrates 90th anniversary in Illinois
Congratulations to the Bjornson Male Chorus, which is holding its 90th Anniversary Concert and Dinner Dance on Friday, June 6, 2014 in Illinois!
The event will be held at the Avalon Banquets, 1905 E. Higgins Road, Elk Grove Village, IL.
The social hour will be held at 6:30 p.m. followed by the concert at 7:30 p.m. The dinner follows the concert. The cost is $35 per person. Dancing will be to the Dave Kyrk Trio.

ABOUT THE BJORNSON MALE CHORUS: The Bjornson Male Chorus is a men’s singing group dedicated to preserving the Norwegian heritage through the singing of Scandinavian choral music, and there are also several Danes in the group. In addition, the Bjornson Male Chorus entertains each year at the Danish Christmas Service in Chicago and performs to the delight of residents and friends at The Danish Home of Chicago at special events.
They also perform numerous sacred and secular songs in English and occasionally even in Latin.
If you are interested in expressing yourself through music, please consider joining Bjornson. No skills or knowledge of Norwegian required!
They practice every Tuesday evening at 8 PM September through June at the Park Ridge VFW at Higgins and Canfield in Park Ridge, Illinois.
