CALIFORNIA NEWS: Come celebrate Fastelavn in Yorba Linda on Sun. Feb. 22, 2015
The Danish American Club in Orange County has some great upcoming programs in 2015. This Sunday, February 22, they will celebrate FASTELAVN!
Dress Up and Have Fun! Costume contest for the kids! Come dressed in costume and slå katten af tønden (“hit the cat out of the barrel”).
Who will be this year’s kattedronning and kattekonge?
The one who knocks down the bottom of the barrel (making all the candy spill out) becomes kattedronning (“queen of cats”); the one who knocks down the last piece of the barrel becomes kattekonge (“king of cats”)
Kids style lunch will be served! Pizza! Ice Cream!
Sunday, February 22nd at 12:00 PM (After 11:00 AM Church Service) at the Danish Cultural Center, 16881 Bastanchury Road, Yorba Linda, CA 92886.
Adults – $10, Children under 12 – $5 and Children under 3 – Free – No RSVP needed
The event is hosted by the Danish Cultural Center and sponsored by the Danish American Club.
