Chicago’s Danish Summer Festival & Fundraiser set for Sunday, June 22, 2014 at The Danish Home

Now is your chance to enjoy Danish Open-Faced Sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, beverages and more at the Annual Summer Festival and Fundraiser held at The Danish Home, 5656 N. Newcastle Avenue, Chicago, IL 60631 on Sunday, June 22, 2014.

The event runs from Noon to 4 p.m. and the entertainment program begins at 2 p.m.

Admission is FREE, but a free-will donation is appreciated at the gate.

There will be a performance by the Bjornson Male Chorus.

Enjoy the many festival shopping opportunities, including the Bakery Booth, Scandinavian Souvenirs, Treasure Chest and Special Drawings.

For children, there will be a “Children’s Corner” with $5.00 admission with UNLIMITED GAMES, Bouncy House, Petting Zoo, Clown and Face Painting.

The Lucky Chance Drawing will include $1,500 First Prize, $500 Second Prize, $400 Third Prize, $300 Fourth Prize and $200 Fifth Prize. Tickets are available at the festival or by calling The Danish Home at 773-775-7383.
