Chili Cook-Off and Clean Up Day at Vasa Park in South Elgin, Illinois set for Sun., Nov. 15
How would you like to enjoy some delicious Chili and help clean up for a few hours at the end of the season at Vasa Park in South Elgin, Illinois?
Vasa Park, 35W217 Route 31, South Elgin has scheduled its “Chili Cook-Off and Clean Up Day!” on Sunday, November 15, 2015.
The Clean up starts at 9:00 a.m. but you can arrive whenever the time suits you. The Chili Cook-Off starts at 1:00 p.m. with a $5 tasting donation*. (*If you work at clean up day for 2 or more hours, tasting fee will be waived!)
All chili needs to arrive by 12:30 p.m.
The park will provide sour cream, cheese and oyster crackers. Any other “fixin’s” needed for your chili are your responsibility. Learn more about Vasa Park at http://www.vasaparkil.com.
