Come See Norwegian Dance at Battery Dance Festival in New York this week

Ingun Bjørnsgaard Prosjekt performs this week at the Battery Dance Festival 2015 in their United States debut. The Oslo-based company will perform August 19, 2015 at Robert F. Wagner, Jr. Park and August 21, 2015 at Pace University’s Schimmel Center of the Arts.

Battery Dance Festival, formerly Downtown Dance Festival, is New York’s longest running public dance festival. The organizers are excited to feature this acclaimed Norwegian company in this year’s program. The festival runs August 15 to August 20 at Robert F. Wagner Jr. Park from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm each night. The closing event will take place on August 21 at Pace University’s Schimmel Center for the Arts.

Ingun Bjørnsgaard Prosjekt will perform excerpts of their 2013 work Praeambulum at Wagner Park on August 19. The full work will be presented at the festival’s closing event on August 21.
