Dansk Sankt Hans Fest 2015

Saturday, June 20th, 2015 @ 4:00 pm

Place: Steen & Carla’s farm

Great Oak Farm, 227 Highland Street, Berlin, MA

Danish Sankt Hans Party 2015

Steen and Carla have again this year invited DSM to the traditional Sankt Hans party.

The party will start at 4 pm with a welcome punch. There will be a table set up for a Book Swap, so if you have any Danish books or magazines you would like to swap, please feel free to bring them (no textbooks please). We will also have a flea market for those who have something to sell.

The afternoon entertainment includes tractor hayrides, a fodbold (soccer) match, rope pull and volleyball, so remember the sneakers. The grills will be fired up and there will be a campfire to make “snobrød”. For your convenience we will set up tables and chairs. After dinner we will be serving fresh strawberries and ice cream, coffee & “kringle” for dessert. We will end the evening with a traditional sing-along around the bonfire while wishing the witch  bon voyage to Bloksbjerg.

Remember to bring: Your own food for the grill and own drinks, cooler (no refrigerator available), plates, utensils and grill utensils, blankets, sunscreen, hat, FLASHLIGHT and bug spray Balls and outdoor toys (raingear and umbrellas)

The sign-up form will be available shortly!
