Danish Sisterhood’s SOLVANGOPOLY GAME
A fun take on the game everyone knows and loves, Solvangopoly is here to enjoy with family and friends, just in time for the holidays and the game was made to mark Solvang’s Centennial celebration. A special feature of this game is that many of your friends, neighbors and local businesses are represented on the board. The Danish Sisterhood wanted to offer something new to the community, so the game was brought to life.
It was important that the game’s cover reflect Solvang’s unique architecture and style. Rick Marzullo, a local artist and owner of the Viking Press, created two original pieces of artwork depicting the character and charm of the city of Solvang.
The games are available for purchase for $25, including tax, at the following locations: Elverhoj Museum -1624 Elverhoj Way, Home Connection – 425 Alisal Road, and Solvang Inn & Cottages, 1518 Mission Dr, all in Solvang. Orders or inquiries regarding the games may be made to the Danish Sisterhood at floradanica177@gmail.com.
All proceeds are donated back to the Valley through scholarships for graduating high school seniors and assistance to local programs serving our community.
