Enjoy ‘Sirens of the Sun Voyager’ Concert and Smörgåsbord this Sunday, May 31 in Seattle, WA

The Nordic Heritage Museum in Seattle, Washington invites you to its “Mostly Nordic Chamber
 Music Series & Smörgåsbord” presenting “Sirens of the Sun Voyager” on Sunday, May 31, 2015. The concert is at 

4:00 p.m. with Smörgåsbord to follow.

Icelandic-born violinist Ása Guðjónsdóttir and American guitarist Christopher Ladd are The Amaranth Duo.

Gudjonsdottir is a Fulbright scholar, a graduate of Reykjavik Conservatory, Icelandic Academy of the Arts, Stetson University, and the Hartt School of Music.

Ladd is a prize winner of the Appalachian Guitar Festival Solo Competition, American String Teachers Association Competition, and was twice a semi-finalist in the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America International Competition. He currently serves on the faculty of The Hartt School in West Hartford,Connecticutt.

Tickets are available online at iceland-mostlynordic2015.eventbrite.com through 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28th, by phone 206-789-5707 during the museum’s normal business hours during the weekend, and at the door before the concert.

The museum encourages everyone to join together following the concert for a smörgåsbord of gourmet delicacies from Iceland. Additionally, admission to all Nordic Heritage Museum exhibits is included with purchase of your concert ticket.
