Fastelavn celebrated at Long Island Danish Brotherhood Lodge #325 on March 14, 2014
By Birgit Jacobsen, birgitj@optonline.net —
Fastelavn in Danish Brotherhood Long Island Lodge #325 was celebrated on March 14th, 2014. It was postponed due to bad weather from the previous month, which happened to be Valentine’s Day. Therefore the cat on the heart! The Cat King was Thomas Kofod, and the children were treated to pizza, ice cream and cookies, while the adults indulged in Helen Kofod’s lavish Smorgasbord.
