This is your opportunity to strengthen our global family by welcoming a Youth For Understanding (YFU) student into your home for 10-12 weeks this fall!

Full school year hosting opportunities are also available. These 15 to 18 year-old Danish students have their own spending money, insurance and are carefully selected based on academics and recommendations.

YFU welcomes host families of all types and sizes. However your family is made, our students look forward to meeting you!

YFU students attend your local high school during the day and share their traditions, holidays and customs with you, their YFU host family. YFU is here for your family every step of the way with group orientations, trained and dedicated local volunteers and 24-hour professional support staff.
