Meet Danish Jewelry Artist Pernille Wager

I had a visit from a longtime friend of the Philippides family, Pernille Wager, who is a Danish jewelry artist and creator of custom handcrafted jewelry. Pernille has a past which includes modeling in Sydney, Australia and a whirlwind of exotic traveling to the far corners of the earth. She always dresses like a Russian empress or in similar Bohemian clothing. She is blond and very beautiful. Many of her clothes have been fabricated from scraps of this and that which she finds in vintage stores, bazaars in the Middle East or on the island of Bali. Her 2012 Christmas was spent in Turkey and in 2013 Pernille, a friend and her Danish mother are heading to a wilderness camp in Africa to observe the wild animals in their natural habitat. You will enjoy her unique jewelry. Her pieces make a great gifts. Her latest collection, mostly in gold,was presented during the pre-Christmas shopping days in a gallery in Hudson, NY.
