Midwest Danish American Chamber plans Two-Hour Public Speaking Seminar September 11
The Midwest Danish American Chamber of Commerce (MWDACC) is excited to launch its next event, together with the Swedish American Museum in Chicago. The event is all about PUBLIC SPEAKING! For some people, this comes very natural, and for others this can be terrifying!
Whether speaking to one person or many, conveying your message in a clear and organized way that holds your audience’s attention is a skill worth developing.
“Five Key Tips for Public Speaking Success” will be a two-hour seminar, presented by Meg Mattsson from the Lincoln Park Toastmaster’s Club. Meg Mattsson has a background in corporate learning and development and is a long-time member of Toastmasters, an international public speaking club where she has held officer positions and mentors new members. Meg will dive into knowing your audience, preparation, organization, engaging your listeners and a powerful close. New speakers and those looking to hone their skills and knowledge are invited.
