New Ambulance Preparations are on schedule in Southern Denmark

BIOS Denmark and Responce are well underway in preparations to take over ambulance driving in Southern Denmark in September 2015. Preparations are following according to the plans that the two companies have laid out. At certain points, the preparations are ahead of plan.

According to the contracts with BIOS Denmark and Responce, which will take over ambulance-driving in Southern Denmark on September 1, 2015, the two companies are continually updating authorities on how far along they are in the preparation of the task.

On February 10, there will be a so-called “milestone plan” that includes an explanation on how far along the two companies are in recruiting staff and how far along the companies are in finding locations for the 39 new ambulance stations. On February 2, the pre-hospital committee in South Denmark saw a draft of the confidential milestone plans, and the members are comfortable with what they have seen.

“We note that the two companies are following the plans they have put in place on the recruitment of staff and planning of ambulance stations. And we are comfortable with this. That said, I would also say that the BIOS is busier than Responce. When it comes to getting the ambulances ready, the two companies are ahead of schedule,” says Thyge Nielsen (V), chairman of the region’s pre-hospital committees.

The next “milestone plan” will be delivered to Region Southern Denmark on April 10, 2015.

FULL STORY IN DANISH:

Ambulanceforberedelser følger planen i Syddanmark

BIOS holder individuelle samtaler
