OBITUARY: In Memory of Margaret (Marge) Dobbs

Margaret B. Dobbs (nee Henriksen), 94, a good friend of The Danish Pioneer Newspaper and a life-long resident of Chicago, passed away March 29, 2015.

Marge was the beloved wife of the late Atha A. “Tuffy”; loving mother of Glen Einar and John Robert (Heather Brown); cherished grandmother of Ashley (Nick) Pozzani, Alyssa, Aubrey, Zachary and Zander; adored great-grandmother of Briella; fond aunt of Barbara and Steve Henriksen.

Marge was very involved in the Danish community, holding various positions in The Danish Old Settlers Society, The Danish American Athletic Club, The Danish National Committee and member of The Danish Sisterhood Dagmar Lodge 4. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. She had been a resident at The Danish Home of Chicago for several years.

A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, April 12th, at 2:00 p.m., at The Danish Home, 5656 N. Newcastle Ave., Chicago. Interment private. Arrangements entrusted to Olson Burke/Sullivan Funeral and Cremation Center. Info 773-774-3333. All Honor to Her Memory!
