One-hour Twitter Question & Answer Session planned with Ambassadors Gifford & Taksøe-Jensen on Monday, June 23, 2014
The Royal Danish Embassy in Washington, D.C. has asked The Danish Pioneer Newspaper to share the following news with its network of readers.
Ambassadors Gifford & Taksøe-Jensen will take questions on Twitter Monday, June 23, 2014 at 11am EST #AskUSDK
Join Ambassadors Peter Taksøe-Jensen (@petertaksoe) and Rufus Gifford (@rufusgifford) for a one hour Twitter Q&A, focusing on how the United States and Denmark can work together and learn from each other on climate, energy, and trade.
The ambassadors will answer your questions, but also want to hear your opinions. They want to listen to your suggestions, your ideas, your thoughts, and maybe even help make those connections that can change the future.
People learn from each other and combining different views and approaches make solving common problems much easier. Both Denmark and the U.S. share a deep commitment to countering climate change and to addressing the consequences of climate change. On Monday, June 23, you are invited to participate in a one hour Twitter Q&A about how the two countries can work together through trade and an exchange of ideas to come up with the best solutions for a more sustainable future.
They welcome your questions – and you can start tweeting them now using #AskUSDK – about what the next steps should be, how we can work together, what the role of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership can play in achieving solutions, and why it makes sense to work together across the Atlantic on issues like this.
So join them and #AskUSDK on June 23 at 17:00 Danish time / 11:00 am EST.
Not on Twitter? Send your question via email to copenhagenirc@state.gov or wasamb@um.dk from now until June 22, and they will post it during the Twitter Q&A session (in the interest of fairness, keep your question within the 140 character limit that exists in Twitter).
