Torsdag den 27. marts inviterede Bakken pressen og en række kendte danskere med deres familier til et festligt, sjovt og hyggeligt åbningsarrangement.
Kl. 13.15 Samling ved Dronningeporten (hovedindgangen for enden af Dyrehavevej)
Kl. 13.30 Bakkens direktør, Nils-Erik Winther, bød velkommen, hvorefter Bubber officielt åbnede Bakkens 2014-sæson, da han med en kæmpenøgle låste den store røde port op.
Kl. 13.40 Rundgang på Bakken under ledelse af professor Tribinini (Morten Eisner der mødte professor Tribini som Statue FOTO) med præsentation af årets spændende nyheder:
* Sky Roller (kørende forlystelse)
* Chipsspillet (behændighedsspil)
* Det klodsede hjul
Runden afsluttedes med den traditionelle tur i Bakkens gamle trærutsjebane.
Kl. 15.00 Traktement på restaurant Skovly
Direktør Nils-Erik Winther giver en kort introduktion til den nye sæson og afslører det nye Bakkedyr.
I de seneste måneder er jagten gået på at opspore det legendariske Bakkedyr, som efter en afstemning på Facebook nu har fået et folkeligt navn. Navnet og udseendet på det nye Bakkedyr afsløredes SE PÅ www.BAKKEN.dk hvem det er.
