Ridge Creative Center Summer Program visits Danish artist Jeppe Hein’s ‘Please Touch The Art’ outdoor exhibit in New York
The Ridge Creative Center’s Summer Program in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York on July 20 – 24, 2015 includes a visit to see Danish artist Jeppe Hein’s outdoor exhibit “Please Touch The Art” in Brooklyn Bridge Park.
The July 20 – 24, 2015 theme at The Ridge Creative Center is A Different Point of View. The goal is to expand ways of seeing and thinking about perspective whether literally in relation to concrete objects or figuratively in relation to concepts in order to broaden perceptions, perspectives and depth.
The daily themes are: Monday – Conflict/Compromise, Tuesday – Camouflage, Wednesday – Roar Thursday – Opposites Attract and Friday Perspectives/Space. The weekly trip is to see Danish artist Jeppe Hein’s outdoor installation in DUMBO, Please Touch the Art, which includes giant sprinklers.
This year the Ridge Creative Center has added fencing classes on Friday mornings.
Danish artist Jeppe Hein’s exhibit runs until next year April 17, 2016. For more information, please visit: http://www.publicartfund.org/view/exhibitions/6071_jeppe_hein_please_touch_the_art
