Scandinavian Park in Illinois plans Midsommar Celebration, Scandinavian Day Festival and Popular Fish Boil for 2015

Did you know that Scandinavian Park, Inc. NFP celebrates all things Scandinavian at Vasa Park in South Elgin, Illinois, but the park itself is also available for rentals from May through October for weddings, picnics, fundraisers and more?

Beautiful 25-acre Vasa Park is located along the Fox River at 35W217 Route 31, South Elgin, Illinois 60177. Founded in 1953 to celebrate Swedish culture and traditions, it holds true to that original mission but today all five Scandinavian countries come together to celebrate all things Scandinavian.

Scandinavian Park, Inc. NFP held its successful Annual Dinner Dance & Fundraiser on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Avalon Banquet in Elk Grove Village, and Scandinavian Park has scheduled the following 2015 events at Vasa Park in South Elgin, IL.

Saturday, June 20, 2015: Midsommar Celebration

Sunday, September 13, 2015: Scandinavian Day Festival – visit www.scandinaviandayil.com

Saturday, October 3, 2015: Fish Boil
