Soloist from Royal Danish Ballet dances on both sides of Atlantic

There is great demand for one of the world’s best dancers: principal dancer at the Royal Danish Ballet Alban Lendorf. In the upcoming season, his dancing can be experienced at the prestigious American Ballet Theatre in New York, but he also continues as a principal dancer in the Royal Danish Ballet. The 25-year-old ballet star will be going to New York in September, but he can still be seen in Denmark at the free 2015 outdoor performances at Rosenborg in Copenhagen on August 22, in the scenic surroundings of Skamlingsbanken in Kolding on August 23 and on August 28 at Hübberiet at Aarhus Festival Week.

Alban solodanser på begge sider af Atlanten

Alban Lendorf solodanser i Den Kongelige Ballet og i American Ballet Theatre.

Der er stor efterspørgsel på en af verdens bedste dansere: Solodanser ved den Kongelige Ballet Alban Lendorf. I den kommende sæson vil han derfor kunne opleves i det prestigefyldte American Ballet Theatre i New York, men fortsætter samtidig som solodanser i Den Kongelige Ballet.

Den 25-årige danser har gjort lynkarriere herhjemme og blev i 2013 kåret til årets mandlige danser ved Prix Benois de la Danse i Moskva. Alban Lendorf ser frem til den kommende sæson, som han vil dele mellem København og nye udfordringer i New York.

Inden balletstjernen tager til New York i September, kan han opleves i Det Kongelige Teaters gratis udendørsforestilling den 22/8 på Rosenborg Eksercerplads i hjertet af København og den 23/8 i de naturskønne omgivelser påSkamlingsbanken ved Kolding. Alban Lendorf danser også den 28/8 til Hübberiet på Aarhus Festuge.
