Successful Danish Painting Day held at Vasa Park in Illinois

The weather was cool on Sunday, May 31, 2015, but thankfully there was no rain for the 2nd Annual Danish Painting Day at Vasa Park, Rt. 31, South Elgin, Illinois.

Organizer Lars Rasmussen says, “We got the assigned tasks done; painted the Herring booth, painted the Beverage booth inside, painted the outside of the Kitchen. But, there was still time for a wonderful luncheon! It was a pleasure to see that so many of the Danish organizations were teaming up, thank you to DAAC, Nimbus Club, The Danish Sisterhood and Dania. Great job everyone, Thank You.”
