Hailing from nearly every Nordic country, the vocalists—Danish Soprano Randi Gislason, Swedish Soprano Cecilia Hjortsberg, Icelandic Tenor Magnus Gislason, and Danish Baritone Hans Lawaetz along with Danish Pianist Knud Rasmussen—will perform a blend of Operatic classics, Scandinavian treasures as well as contemporary pop/rock hits— sometimes together —and always with the high level of talent and expertise you would expect from the Royal Opera of Copenhagen.

“In the style of true Nordic cooperation, ASI, the Danish American Center, the Grieg Society, the Icelandic-American Association of Minnesota and Finlandia Foundation-Twin Cities are delighted to welcome the Nordic Singers back to Minneapolis. There’s no better way to round out a Midsommar Celebration on June 21 than with their fine performance,” said Glen Olsen, President of the Danish American Center.
