The 8th Annual LANDLOCKED FILM FESTIVAL will take place AUGUST 21-24, 2014 in Iowa City, Iowa, and two Danish films are on the schedule: Ant Boy and Marie Kroeyer.

Landlocked Film Festival is an all-volunteer organization, and the locations for this festival in the Heartland of America are the Englert Theatre, Iowa City Public Library & FilmScene.

According to the Landlocked Film Festival’s website, “Landlocked presents independent movies from around the world. Thousands of audience members gather in Iowa City’s historic downtown to watch diverse films, from two minutes to two hours long, from artsy experimentation to outrageous comedy, from heartwarming family stories to heartbreaking drama, from hard-hitting documentary to music video to amazing animation.”
